Our regular office hours are:

• Monday – Thursday, 7:30 am – 5 pm
• Friday, 7:30 am – 12 pm

Holidays and inclement weather may affect these times. We will always call scheduled patients if we have an unscheduled closing.

Patients who arrive more than 15 minutes late are subject to being rescheduled or experiencing longer wait times. We appreciate 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment, if possible.

In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of 20/20 Eye Care and they will contact us.

If you have an urgent but non emergency medical need and need to talk to our doctors after our regular hours, please call our office at (256) 536-4489. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned promptly. If it is a life-threatening emergency, please bypass this phone call and head straight to the emergency room or call 911.

Vision

• Blue Cross Blue Shield Vision Plans (except Federal Blue Vision)
• Southland
• VSP
• EyeMed (Aetna plans only at this time)

Please contact your insurance company or you may call our office at (256) 536-4489 to find out if we accept your plan.

If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Care Credit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

20/20 Eye Care is currently accepting new patients, with or without a physician referral. However, if your insurance is an HMO/managed care plan and you are required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, the referral must be obtained before you can be seen for an office visit. Please coordinate this with your primary care physician in advance.
